Hello Sir,

Which link did you try? I posted my eBay ad as well as the video of the car running and a walk around.

I am the owner of the car. Clean and clear title in my hand.

Thanks,
Mike

I am not sure what happened with the link, but it appears to be working now. Please let me know if you continue to have issues with it as I will contact eBay.

Have a great Day,
Mike

After speaking with a few Montego fanatics I might be asking to much for my car??

What do you all think its worth? On the ad you can read about all the details, but i wanted to give a little more in depth on this post.....

Negatives on the car:

Describing the Paint in more depth:

Paint and trim are just driver quality. The paint has a few small scratches and rock chips from being driven.

The exhaust is new and needs to be adjusted as it is very tight up against the drivers floor pan.
Driver side valve cover needs a new gasket as it has a small (very small leak)

Other then those small issues the car runs drives stops and steers great.

What do you think a fair asking price on the car should be??

Much appreciated!

You know what they say about opinions. Wink

People's opinion of worth raises considerably when THEY own it.

Looks like a good car to me. Value is what someone is willing to pay. Makes more sense to me to start out a little high anyway. You can always drop your price but it's pretty hard to raise it.

Personally I think you are spot on starting at 21k. I'd have to believe your walking away with 18-19k. Does the a/c blow cold?

Thank you for he input! Yes AC blows cold as it is a new vintage heat and AC kit specifically designed for the car.

Agreed and where I started leaves me some room to move for the right buyer

John, if you look at that original link it starts with an "m", meaning it was the mobile site link (ie for a cell phone).  Maybe that's why it didn't work for you??  In anycase, I tried it several times and it seems to work fine.  Dave post the computer link (starts with www).

I agree with Rick.  With the price others are asking for these cars now, I don't think it's out of line despite some of the "negatives".   I was suspect of the other CL ad with the lower price, because the prices on these cars have gotten so high as of late.

I'm thinking $18-$19K as well. That car should bring that in the current market, especially with the lesser quality cars that bring crazy money.

Looks great red on white. Man I don't think I'd want anyone getting in that car without a Tyvek suit! Good luck with the sale!

Hello All! Unfortunately I had a family emergency happen last night and family is more important than anything. I am in desperate need of selling the Montego due to the fact that my little brother was in an accident last night and now needs a new car. The guy who hit him had no insurance and looks like he is going to be in a sticky situation for awhile.

Looking to sell the Montego for $15,000 and I feel that that is a basically giving the car away, but its what needs to happen.

If anyone has interest please let me know!

Thanks
Michael

That is why I love Jeeps. Archaic, crude, temperamental, but you can survive something bad in them. Glad he is ok, sorry you have to do a quick sale.

Sorry to hear this happened. I hope you sell the car quickly. At that price it's a bargain.

The fact he is ok is all that matters. He's a great kid and is finishing up school so the least I can do is help him get back on his feet with a new car.

I'll be able to find another Montego/Torino
