It's amazing to me that these original cars are still out there with very low mileage. Clap

That looks like the car I saw at Carlisle a couple of years ago.  They were only asking $6800 at that time.  So my guess is a flipper bought it to make some money.  It was a nice clean car, but not perfect.

Here's the one I saw:

I'll bet it is the same car. Love the color combo and that cloth interior is beautiful. Does anyone have an idea of what styles of cloth fabric was available for the Gran Torino and GTS in 1972 for these cars? I'm having a bit of trouble finding Ginger Comfortweave and don't particularly want to go back with the original Ginger vinyl Gran Torino vinyl.

One of the great cloth colors was tobacco, which may work with ginger. I had tobacco cloth in my '72 back-in-the-day and I loved it. Much better than the ginger vinyl in my current '72.

I've got a 78 Cougar 4-door with 26,000 miles that's just as nice...white with blue interior....
These low mileage 70's 4-doors are the next on the food chain to go up in price...
All it will take is one of these to go thru Mecum for $20,000 and then they will all go up....Just like the $30,000 pinto wagon that went thru Mecum....

wonder what happened to that trunk light? looks like a owner install as it looks a bit hacked.

Joe, the reference section of the forum has links to all the upholstery options for Torinos. Check it out here and go to the 1972 link:

Thanks Vince. The pleated cloth and vinyl trim is what I'm after. Very nice.

I am not 100% sure it's the same car, but they sure look darn close to me.  I can't see any differences, and both cars also have that same yellow sticker in the windshield too.  Plates can be swapped, so I wouldn't hang my hat on that alone.
