Sorry, haven't been active on here a few days.  You've been upgraded to full member status so you can now send and receive PM's.  Brand new members can't do this.

I tend to agree for the most part but I have mixed feelings on the value. Yes, this is a Sports roof model, but it's a bench seat, assuming plain jane 351W or 351C 2 barrel car. Bench seat, automatic. I'd like to see pictures before the paint. I'd also frankly deduct on the painted flat black bumpers and the flat black stripes on the sides.
Once again, not my car, not my money.

I see nothing wrong with a rebuilt engine/transmission/etc as long as there is the detail and receipts to back it up.

As it sits, I see no reason that the car isn't at least $8k-$10K. As long as it's not full of filler 3" thick in places and it's fairly clean underneath and it rides and drives decent.

My personal preferences however...
Make sure it's got the right suspension under her. Shocks, springs, sway bars.
Ditch the wheels, and put something else on there.
Pull the bumpers and rechrome.
Find a set of late model mustang leather seats and get new covers to match the interior color and ditch that bench seat.
Ditch the FMX, swap in a 4R70W 4 speed auto overdrive with trans controller and deeper rear end gearing for some fun.

See how easy it is to spend other people's money? :D
