Actually, both with fish plates and also boxing this area for mounting exhaust out the sides here. It may seem like overkill of reinforcements, but I drive my vehicles like I stole 'em. My DD Explorer sees curbs regularly, has been on the sidewalks downtown, regularly is off road, and is very familiar to the stop light wars (esp.) with unsuspecting imports. So I need extra reinforcements. Big smileLOLBig smile

Rear control arms for the front cross member brackets I made.

Looks like I am getting good penetrations on the brackets I made.

Brackets are in position and ready for drilling and bolted, will be welded to frame rail.

Using the old one was like cutting a porterhouse with a plastic knife (not real pretty or effective, but it got you there eventually) versus this 175 as a hot knife through butter. So I would have to say, works awesome, it does!

Haha, afterwards, I thought I would hear about those. They are some spalted oak pieces I had sitting around seasoning, waiting for their time to be turned on the wood lathe into bowls. When I was cutting the frame in two, I needed eight means of support to keep everything level. Big smile

What you have there is the largest single improvement on your truck. JT, you will be amazed at the difference.

Actually 2 biggest improvements (fuel tank relocated and the CVPI swap).

Sanding the cab, filling in the seams with weld then bondo. I did just pick up 2015 Mustang GT 18x8 wheels for it.
