I have an opportunity to pick up a 74 gran Torino which in the ad doesn't appear all rusted out. I'm fairly sure but looking for confirmation. The doors, qtr panels, most of the interior can be used on my 72. Is this correct?

yes most will interchange the quarters will be slightly different due to 72-73 having a rear side marker light and the lower rear is different 72-73 have the rear valance but i think they can be made to work

Here are some pics of quarter panels. That are way better than mine but are they worth cutting them and patching to fix my car? Looks like the inner fender is good where on my car the drivers is rotted away. Car has a 400 with factory air and electric seat. I can get the car for 900.

My panels for comparison.
I am hoping I can use these 74 panels and piece out mine.

72 model quarters can be purchased for your car and the repair will go a lot smoother, of course, you then won't have all those other parts from the 74 that could be useful for the rest of your car. You might consider buying this car to part out, and take the money from selling things you don't need and buying new quarters for yours.

Thanks, that is probably the way I am going to go. The inner fenders are shot too at least the drivers side. Hoping I can salvage something there.
