Looks like a pretty nice car. A fresh paint job always scares me though.

Too bad about that new laser stripe though... the first thing my eye gets attracted to on that car is the crooked stripe on the driver's door LOL

Yikes.!! I went back and looked and the d.s. gap where the fender meets the valance. I love when they say the a/c needs a re-charg. It should be so easy

That guy sells a LOT of '72-'79 Torinos and mid-sized Fords and tried to buy a couple of mine. He gets them, slicks them up and flips them.

Based on some of the work, it looks like a flip job.  Anyone notice the masking lines around the door tag and the trunk braces show the original colour, which was 4B.  I am sure it probably wasn't a laser stripe car originally either.  I wonder what else is hiding under that paint....

Actually he has a '74 to '76 right beside it that will most likely appear soon with fresh paint.

^^^ This is what I meant when I said he flips a lot of these. There are even more examples out there. Not a big deal if he rescued cars needing TLC, fixed them correctly and sold them reasonably. Notice they are all Laser cars missing the wheel moldings - a big giveaway to converted side molding cars.

Those cars caught my eye. The new paint and junkyard interiors leave a lot to be desired. There is one listed on an auction site and it says 351W, am/fm 8-yrack and has a vig block and cassette deck.
Then there's the yellow one that the place is "Proud to offer"... Next.
I am psyched at how you guys pick out the smallest details. I know where to ask when it is my turn to make the investment before I fly out if necessary.
