here is a nice 72 Mercury Montego GT Fastback GT has been wrecked driverside front fender headlight extension and bumper but otherwise a very straight car and mostly rust free body in Missouri for a reasonable starting bid

Yeah, it sold a couple of weeks ago. Surprised to see it back up again. Man, I like that body style. Shame I broke the piggy bank on my 72 GTS. |

That's located about 30 minutes from where I live. Independence is actually in the Kansas City Metro area. Nice ride... not too bad of a "fixer upper" either! Is there a company that makes aftermarket body parts for the 72's yet?

I might have a fender, hood and bumper for that car!
Would have to ask Gary, Bakes69, the condition of the stuff on the 72 Montego he just sold me for the frame.

BTW Bakes69, did you send the data information on that '72 GT to the Montego GT registry? If not I can forward all the info for you. Let me know the vin, door data info and any other details of that beautiful new convertible.

That beautiful new convertible is headed to the bone yard...
the frame is going under my Gran Torino.
Other parts may be salvaged and stored.
