72-swapping bucket seats into a bench seat car?

I did a quick search, sorry if I missed this.

The bucket seats are from a 72 also.

I took the bench seat out tonight, on a quick look (was getting dark already) it looks like there are holes for the bucket seat brackets by the tunnel, but nothing else.

Do I just use nuts/bolts here, or is there a better way. The car the buckets came out of was so rusty there really wasn't anything there, so I am not sure what I need. Plus it's been a few years. Embarrassed

there should be slots there for u-nuts to clip into then just bolts down into them Wink available at most hardware stores...

Pull out one of the outer ones and match with new ones.
Later cars usually have the clips in all the spots whether it was a bench or bucket car originally.

I took one (off of the Rusty Ranchero, surprised there was one still) and bought several at the hardware store today. Definitely aren't any on the new Ranchero for the buckets. Bought some bolts as well.

quality bolts for mounting seats, not a time/place to save $ with chinesium hardware
