I have a triple black 73 brougham. There is a rolling 74 elite for sale about 4 hrs away. Are these the same frame. They’re both 2 door.

the rear bumper area will be different, but most is the same i believe?

As far as I know/recall, my'73 frame is good except for a spot on the bottom under the door that's has a hole. I don't remember any others. I was originally going to cut it out and replace a piece there. But I got the '72 now, so am going to slide that underneath. Once the drivetrain is off, and the frame is bare, I'll just stand it up against some trees, or a wall. I won't just scrap it it yet.......

Here is a 1972-73 Frame rear section for comparison to North Elites above.  As you can see it's different from the 1974=79 rear frame section.  So to make this work, you might have to graft on the rear section of your current frame to the new one.  That is if the rear section of your current frame is salvageable. 

Otherwise, you'd need to find a 1973 frame.
