no that color i used was not atomic orange (but the vette people think it is Confused) i used a ford color called orange crush... it was used on rangers some full size and the ford edge in the mid to late 2000's Wink it has like 3 different colors of pearls in the mix so it was a bit spendyShocked  i thought it looked the same how the light is hitting it on those mirrors Wink Thumbs Up

I had a person pull up to the shop in a 2015 challenger to pick up a customer. This car was the color I kept pointing out to my wife and telling her "THAT'S THE COLOR!!!!" you know how it is LOL. So anyway, I grab a mirror and head outside "hay man, can I look at your car?" like any man would say no :) I compared my mirror to his and the base tone is pretty darn close except mine has more POP due to the larger metallic flakes. So I'm happy, very happy. I just couldn't bare to put a GM or Chry color on a Ford, so I'm thrilled that I came across this color. Truth of the matter is they are all very very close, so you could easily call it any of them. I paid $400.00 in paint and a few other chemicals, so yea, kinda pricey but not too bad.

Yeah I noticed most every manufacturer has a similar color. I think I paid $89 per quart plus all the other chemicals to go with it

It is absolutely beautiful with excellent craftsmanship and custom touches. My old '75 GTS would be proud to know it lives on (in a small way) in that car.

I'll try to get more posted soon. What aggravates me is the picture size restrictions (not opening a photo bucket account, sorry) I'm trying to post using my cell phone and can't resize, and the best pictures are too big. I'll have to get to my desktop PC, resize and post.

Where there is a will, there is a way! I pulled (saved) my own pictures off FB, because FB automatically resizes them, with my phone and then reposted them to this site, Thank you FB! Saved me some time :)

Stopped for a bite to eat on our maiden voyage to a local car club "drive in" and then we were on our way (some of the pictures above are at that event)
