FINALLY, the Torino is in the body shop and the first order of business is getting the gaps and panels in alignment. He sent me a message this afternoon concerning the taillight panel along with a few pictures....









Are the panel ends supposed to droop down as it meets the taillight (perhaps to drain the water outwardly from the trunk gutter) or should it run parallel to the bottom edge of the decklid?

if your confused with the step... there's a gap that the black plastic filler between the light and the quarter panel above it fills and butts in behind the bottom channel a lot of cars seem to have came without those black fillers

if you zoom in here you can see the edge of the trunk lip and how it lines up with the quarter panel edge not sure if these pics help but...
