THAT is the issue.
Best would be to sell locally and take what someone offers you cash.

It is not getting a good connection or ground.
 
Open it up again, look at the rust inside and clean out the rust.
Make sure the spring works well, the ground wire is firmly attached to the housing, also there has to be a ground of some sort. either through the body of the housing to the mounting point or a wire, make sure THAT connection is CLEAN.

Hello,

I have a 74 GTS and the parking lamp on the passenger side in the grill is dim?  I changed the amber bulb but no difference in brightness?  Then I took the bulbs out of the D/S and P/S lamp housings at night and they both had the same brightness?  Is there some sort of reflector inside these lamps?  The drivers side is perfect but the passenger side is still dim?? 
 
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

what was the build date on your car?  ours in  12/ 71,   is yours a formal roof car or a fast back.  ours is a formal roof.       I wonder if this has anything to do with it.      Andy what was the build date on your car?

Here is the number off the stock 351W heads.
Can someone PLEASE help me out with the CC of these and the motors compression ratio!?
And anything else you can help me with on these?
As you know I am looking to put the GT40 heads directly on this motor with stock bore/stroke/pistons.
The GT40 heads are a 64CC chamber from what I have found.
