I'm trying to figure out the best way to fix my AC. I have a factory AC in my car that does not work, but I have no idea why. I don't even know if there still is fluid in it or whatever.

Does any of you have any experience with troubleshooting the factory AC? Is that even feasible without all kinds of special tools and equipment? I wonder if there are like a series of steps that I could follow to figure out what the problem is.

Any help appreciated Smile

could be a leak somewhere in the system, usually there is a high and low pressure switch so if the freon is low it won't turn on,  with the engine off see if you can turn the center of the compressor part inside the pulley to see if the compressor is seized, and check along all of the connections if there is a greasy spot there could be a leak. you probably will have to have it hooked up to a a/c service machine to locate if there is a leak Unhappy
