I'm looking to install some new springs on the '72 Squire when I swap rear ends in a few weeks. Wanting a decent height, not jacked up at all. Another member has a set of 2 inch lowering springs that I really like, but I don't know how low it will actually sit on 17 inch wheels (the car has always squatted in the rear and really sits low now. I will be installing Moog performance front springs (like I installed in the gold '72 Base Formal I currently drive) with 3/4 coil cut off to get a good look with the 400/C6 drivetrain weight. Does anyone have a suggestion for rear springs or has anyone ever installed the 2 inch lowering springs on a wagon?

Dearborn classics has OEM replacement springs available.. Pricey, but if you want the stock height they have them..

We have the spring spec listed here for OEM and aftermarket springs:

The only springs listed for wagons are the Cargo Coils.  CC803s would be a good choice but it'd probably give you stock height. They are cheap, so it might be worth trying to see how it sits.

Using 2" lowering springs on an ass heavy wagon might sink the back end even further. If you want it lowered from stock, you might need custom lowering springs from Eaton, but they probably won't be cheap. That way you can get the higher spring rate to support the weight of the heavy wagon and your lower stance.
