Mounts for a 76 Torino or any interchangeable car. Going from a small block to 460. Thanks

idk what the minor difference was but the mid 70's lincolns use most of the same suspension parts as torinos so i'd think the cross members should be the same? yeah trucks use a tower style...

For the engine swap to be a "bolt-in" type of deal, you will want engine mounts from an intermediate, like a Gran Torino, Montego, Cougar, '75-'76 Thunderbird, Ranchero and Lincoln Mark series(full-size-Continentals and Town Cars use different mounts as do the Mercury Grand Marquis). With that said, I have never tried to make the full size mounts work, just remember, that headers(if you want to have the option to use them) are based on fitting with the factory "correct" engine mounts. Header fit is usually a PITA even with the correct mounts-just sayin' . Hope this helps

Crites makes swap mounts. Thiers appear to be nothing more than fullsize mounts modified with a bracket to straddle the torino/intermediate crossmember. They do not position the engine in the factory location and require their matching headers.

There’s a complete set on eBay. Includes frame mounts, insulators, and heat shields. I think they’re priced at $350

I’m not sure if the one on eBay will work on my Torino? That’s my concern. What’s the title or # on eBay, maybe I haven’t seen it yet? Thanks for the help

All I had was the insulators. They already sold. The eBay set is correct and complete.

Ebay set is a mixed set. the one engine plate is the pre-73 version, the other is 73-up. Doesn't affect fit, just fun to see.

72-76 t birds with 429/460 motor mounts are a direct fit for the ranchero/torino/montego 72-76 and for engine swapping in a 77-79 cougar/LTD II/ ranchero.
