That is AWESOME! Who's heads did you use? You might want to consider a late model master cylinder (like from a Ranger) with the outlets on the fender side, just for a little extra wiggle room..
I priced out that whole deal from Kaase to make the 545 a little more absurd and unfortunately found the wallet lacking..
Did you get custom headers made or did something fit? Great that you did it as a stick too.. Cable linkage or hydraulic?
Jim

That is AWESOME!!!! Thats just like the 70 that was offered but never made it to production. My dad was going to order a 70 Boss Torino but the insurance was too high and he got the 351 instead. I bet if he would have ordered it they would have told him sorry they decided not to add them to the lineup due to something with Nascar. I for get the story on it but I wish they would have made more than the 2 that were actually built with the Boss. Sweet Ride man!

Looks like the kinda car were you push the pedal down, and need to go the back seat to scrape your brains off the back window when you stop.
Tis a thing of beauty

Amazing car! Post more pics and tell us about the build.
Is that a repro carpete or original in the car. If it's a repro, where did you get it? |

tom had emailed me the dyno numbers sometime back but i cant find that email. I went searching thru all my email files AND facebook messaging. it did have aluminum rods and thsoe were changed out. i want to say the hp number was in the 600 range. thats what sticks in my mind at least. i do believe its an original boss 9 but cant say 100%. I CAN tell you this, Tom is a HELLUVA good guy!

600 hundred makes sense to keep it streetable. most cases those pics would speak for themselves, but I would like more details on the setup or future setup if it's not done. she is a beauty

Vince, you can get the ACC carpet through a couple of vendors and it's practically a perfect match.
I have one for my car. Some of the clors may not be available though. The Yellow '73 I have here for some work has the ginger interior and I can the carpet but not the proper color foot pads.

Thanks Ian. My orginal carpet is not bad, but over there years the loops have come apart. I'd only replace it if it looks exactly as original.

Nice ride. Is that a pewter metallic paint job? Also, did you have to use custom headers to clear the clutch linkage?
