Duration at .050 lift as opposed to total duration?

With my Crown Vics (80s square panthers), I was MUCH happier with 3.55 rear gears and the AOD than the factory 2.73. Swapped in a 3.27 axle out of necessity which wasn't quite as much fun, but still WAY better than factory.

It appears the problem not much made for 8in rear. Jegs has 7.5 8.8 and 9 but no 8.
