Just called crane cam to find out what this car had.The spc. are 484 lift 216 duration 110 separation.So for those of us that know little what does this mean.

I just looked it up at sumett act.is 216 both adv. is more like 274 ,why the difference.,

Duration at .050 lift as opposed to total duration?

That appears to be a crane 13005 cam that you have there. I will post the specs. below so that the other members can see it.

according to sumett this is the highest cam for a stock 9.1 or higher 302 with stock converter.Also rec 3.5 or higher gears? I was running 2.75 with aod.?Going to 3.23 from Joe.

With my Crown Vics (80s square panthers), I was MUCH happier with 3.55 rear gears and the AOD than the factory 2.73. Swapped in a 3.27 axle out of necessity which wasn't quite as much fun, but still WAY better than factory.

It appears the problem not much made for 8in rear. Jegs has 7.5 8.8 and 9 but no 8.
