I have a 72 GTS, Q code that I am restoring. While doing some bodywork I came across 4 dimes that were secured in the door jambs and on the ends of the doors. Has anyone ever heard of or seen this before?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Danno

Your car had side moldings and someone epoxy glued dimes in from the back to fill the holes...I've done it before....quick fix if u don't want to weld...

Manufacturing error.
Those are supposed to be installed on the brakes.
Makes the car stop on a dime.
