Looking for photos of the receiver that the ash tray slides into. My ‘68 has the ash tray but someone in a previous life has created a home-made version (and not a working unit) of the receiver. I found some online but not very clear.
Anyone with this console (also used in ‘69-‘71 Torino’s) able to take a couple of photos? I don’t expect anyone to remove their console but much appreciated if you do…
I don’t plan to ever use the ash tray but I do like things to work as originally designed.

No one has a console they can pop out the ashtray for a photo of the receiver?

Here's a few, there's slots on both sides bottom of the ash tray that rest on the small rod and it rotates out
