Looking for a little guidance as to the easiest/best order for reassembly of the dash/steering column/wiring harness/ heater box into the car. Have pictures of pretty much everything else in the removal process but was not at the shop when these parts were pulled. I am thinking install of insulation on inside of firewall, steering column and heater box, dash minus pad, and then feeding wiring harness into dash area. Any pointers greatly appreciated.

i'd put the column in before the heater cables, they go through a hole in the column bracket which adds to the difficulty getting the column in between them and the bottom of the bracket, it can be done but the cables catch on the column as you're trying to slide it in
wiring harness for the dash can be laid in the dash then dash put in place... i'd do insulation, then column bracket and bracing, then dash, wires, column, then heater... |
