With my car being scheduled to go off for body and paint work, I realized that my doors are gutted and empty and to properly set the door gaps, we'll need to add in the appropriate weight to approximate the door "sag" once all the pieces are reinstalled. Does anyone know what the glass, track, power window motor, power door lock actuators, release and latching mechanism, mirror, weatherstripping, exterior window trim and interior trim panel might weigh so I can get weighted bags made to place in the doors to simulate the weight?

well it shouldn't really sag too much at all if you rebuilt the hinges
 idk off hand but i could weigh a glass and a latch and power motor... the rod for the track is pretty light as with the hatch rods.... |

DOOR GLASS: 18.125 lbs LIFT MECHANISM - MANUAL: 4.75 lbs LIFT MECHANISM - POWER: 8.25 lbs GLASS BRACKETS & GUIDES: 1.75 lbs SPEAKER (6.5") - 1.875 lbs POWER LOCK ACTUATOR: 1.25 lbs WIRING HARNESS: 2 lbs LATCH MECHANISM: 3.125 lbs EXTERIOR HANDLE, LOCK & PARTS - 1.25 lbs EXTERIOR CHROME REMOTE MIRROR: (OOPS FORGOT TO WEIGH  )EXTERIOR BRIGHT DOOR BELTLINE MOULDING: 1.125 lbs EXTERIOR BODY SIDE MOULDING & CLIPS: .75 lbs DOOR WEATHERSTRIP: 1.25 lbs INTERIOR DOOR TRIM PANEL: 7.75 lbs ARM REST ASSEMBLY: 1.50 lbs I'll add the mirror weight next time....

sorry joe, with all this crap going on here lately i forgot to weigh some parts but it looks like you got it... BTW most of that weight will be centered in the door FWIW.....

Yeah, but that weight is still outboard of the hinge, so there will be some sag. I added up all the weights associated with the components in my door and they total out OVER 50 POUNDS! I was guessing between 25 & 30......
