We had a member that installed late model Mustang seats.  They worked pretty well with the factory rear seat.

I wonder if the Mark IV seats would fit? 2nd gen Explorer seats can be modified to fit, and they offer lumbar adjustments as well.

I have an original power seat in my '72 Squire and it does indeed help to find a better driving position.

Mark IV and V seats will bolt right in.

"I thought I told you to never interrupt me while I'm working!!"

Igor: I can remember what my dad used to say in times like this.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: What did he say?
Igor: 'What the hell are you doing in the bathroom all day and night? Give someone else a chance!'

John mentioned it, power seats were common in 77-79 Tbirds, which are easy to find and are the same platform as 72-76 Torinos.
