I am building a 429scj out of a 1970 Torino and putting it into a 1972 Grand Torino, what kind of engine mount problems will I have if any.

Greetings Jimbo! I believe you can get 72 429 motor & trans mounts from www.dearbornclassics.com . You may also need 72 429 accessory mounting bracks (e.g., alt, pwr steer, a/c, etc.) Good luck! |

Kar krafters has mtr mts if you need them. not sure. trans mount should be the same. I did a 70' 460 into a 72 Gran Torino, fast, fast,fast!

I Have Been Looking For Thoes Mounts for 3 years: The best I have come up with; is Drivers side -" 9" / Pass. Side - "0". This Board is so slow - Mine old car - will be a relic; when I get a Reply?

I dont know about dearborn classics, but when I was looking for mounts for my 460, every part store in existance had them backordered, out of production, or production was delayed....indefinately. Finaly i got a set of mounts from an early 70's lincoln mark something...in a salavage yard....keep your eye on those salvaged lincolns and Tbirds, i am sure you will find a decent pair.
