Hello  Would anybody have an address where i can buy new front floor pans forn a 73 gran torino sport?  If not could I buy a 71 set and make them fit some how?  I want to replace all the metal I can with fiber glass or new steel.  All I can find is rear quarters and valances. Also what about the rear wheel wells, is there a place that makes any?  Up here in new hampshire we get alot of road salt so fiber glass or plastic would be nice.

I looked at the web but dont know how to get pics of the fiberglass front ends.  I need to know if there are new floor pans that will fit or something that will work if I can pound them in.

What do you need for your floors? I'm parting out my 76 Elite. I stripped the floors and POR15'd both the top and bottom.

Im not sure if they would be the same , but ive got rot in both front floor pans that iI could put my foot thru. Theres enuogh of a hole on the pssngr side to accomodate my cat ,which he uses for escaping from the dog. I would like to buy a new pair (left & right) if I could. Im not to impressed with my rear wheel wells too. I would like to gather up all the new sheet metal I can before I start my body work.  thanks for all your experience and advice.   steve

Torino - Elite = same car. Get me a pic if you can, and I can see what I have. I don't think you'll be able to find new.

How did you like the POR15 products? Did you use their full recommended line for the floor restoration? Did you brush or spray?

I used the manifold paint, and it wore off after several months (some of it), but I may not have prepped 100%, so I have no ill will toward them, I am still very interested in their products.

GTS: (can I call you that?) I used a floor pan kit.. The top and bottom was washed with their prewash, then silver then black POR on top.. the bottom was just black. Having never driven the car.. the panels have held up nicely in the garage

I did do the doors on my Cavalier with it, and it is daily driven. That too, has held up nicely. Summer and Winter.

Also.. SPLUHAR
.. This piece sitting in my garage may interest you.

I've been searching for the same parts as most of you. I've come to realize that the LTD II, Thunderbird, Cougar and that vintage of cars have a lot of parts in common, body wise that is. Granted, the out side sheet metal does not look even close, but I've found that the Rad Support, front inner fender wells, firewall, Chassis, etc are very much interchangable. I'm thinking that the floors, rockers and trunk floors are close if not identical to the torinos as well. If this is the case then I would say the same for the wheel houses, inner and outer as well.

Just my 2 cents worth of what I've found. I'll be using the floors from a thunderbird in my 72GTS.                             Ron

How much of that piece do you need? It's very large, and I think as it is, beyond even DHL limits.

I'm in zip 02702

IF YOU WERE TO CUT THAT PIECE IN HALF, I WOULD NEED THE PASSENGER SIDE HALF.  LOOKS LIKE I CAN WORK WITH THE DRIVERS SIDE.  I HATE RUST.  HOW MUCH $ FOR HALF OF THAT PIECE?  HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGH?

HOW MUCH FLOOR PAN DO YOU HAVE?  BECAUSE OF THE LEAK, I HAVE A SMALL PATCH OF HEAVY RUST UNDER THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR SEAT.  I DONT NEED TO REPLACE IT, BUT IF YOU HAVE IT AND IM CUTTING AND WELDING, AND THE PRICE IS RIGHT, I MAY THINK ABOUT IT.  THANKYOU.

I could cut it in half. I'd like to get $75 for half.. as for weight, I'm not sure yet.

As for the floor piece you need, I have that.. can you take a picture of what you need? if not, I can send a pic of what I have.. and we can go from there.
