Griffin, I'd have to hunt around for pictures of that truck. Basically, I bought the S-10 from a buddy and he said he had a Ranger Splash (stepside) bed he'd give me if I wanted. Paid $500 for the truck (nothing wrong except paint was bad), drove it for a couple of weeks, sold the bed off it with the tailgate for $300 and decided to see what I could do with the Ranger bed. Cut 8+/- inches out of the center of the bed, welded some new supports underneath to lower it a couple of inches and installed it on the S-10. Looked great, body lines were spot-on, correct width. Did the same thing to the tailgate, added side clasps and sprayed the whole truck. Added a custom dual exhaust another friend built for me to tune the V6 sound out and add a more V8 rumble. Looked very cool, sounded incredible. Drove it for 5+ years smiling the entire time and it gathered a crowd whenever I stopped. No one could figure it out until I would tell them - then the lightbulbs would come on. As an added bonus, the Ranger bed is fiberglass except the load floor, so it shaved a lot of weight off the truck. Added ZQ8 wheels, lowered it 3 inches and drove the snot out of it. Sold it with almost 300K on the odometer.

update on the sentra... needing to buy new front tires, hate the 14's that are on there, i contemplated using the 16" honda wheels i had on the celica but would need to buy lo pro tires for them to clear the struts and with the clear coat on them corroded it would be $$$ to have them refinished, it's cheaper to buy new wheels !! so in searching for wheels i like i found some but after checking several online suppliers they were back ordered Angry well i had ordered new federal 205/40/17 tires already, found some similar 17" wheels i liked better but more $$ so i ordered them... then seeing they are available in 16" Confused but all my measuring says the 17's will barely fit... fingers crossed!
well last saturday my buddy i used to work with delivered them to me late in the day... i check the fit with just the wheel, looks good but to late to get the tires mounted Confused so tonight after work i had time to take them into town to get the mounted ...$28 ok stop at another tire store to grab new lug nuts $48!!! Shocked well i talked them down to $32 Wink
so now that it's dark out i decide to put them on the car to see if the wheels with tires will fit and clear... yes they do but oops i forgot to balance them, couple mins later they are all balanced Big smile  these fill up the wheel wells nicely Thumbs Up pics coming in the morning...stay tuned

I must have missed it or forgot about it.  Either way, looks way better than stock.  And the stance, even if you don't drop any further is a huge improvement over what it was.

If it is a DD, I'd leave it at the current height. Better ride and no horror when you hit a dip or pothole. Plus, we are all getting older and it really sucks to have to climb up out of a car that is lowered, lol.

yeah i think i'll leave it as it is (debated all weekend about chopping some springs Wink) a while back i came out of the local grocery store... a guy parked next to me asked if it was my kid's car? i said no, i don't have any kids. he paused then asked if i bought it this way? i said no it was bone stock when i got it! he was taken aback a bit...i told him i did all this! he said oh i just didn't expect to see an old guy driving this, i said i'm a "car guy" i can't have anything stock LOL

a few years ago when i was D D'ing my celica, one night driving home from work, saw 2 troopers on the other side of the freeway with a slammed honda "jacked up" then 2 more on my side proceeded to pull out and "light me up" Shocked then a few mins later the other 2 pulled up behind me! 1 trooper came up to my car looking surprised, and asked if this was my car? i said yes i'm just driving home from work, and 4 of you guys, what's up with the intimidation factor? let me guess you guys figured it was some punk kids in a lowered car, right??? he said um yeah... i told him last i checked "profiling" was illegal! he himmed and hawed, then asked how i knew that? i told him i was a former law enforcement officer for 10 years! Shocked i was back on my way shortly there after Big smile

Looks good John!  Did you just cut the springs to drop it, or replace them?  Remember those little Sentra SE R's from that era?  They were fun little cars.  And I agree, I love the garage setup too.  I need more garage space and would love to build a second one on our property someday. Already have the spot picked out, but I'd need to clear the land first.
