Well I went to the Nostalgia Drags today and ran in Super Stock and the Flag Drags. The rain came in when I was in the semi finals of Super Stock and the Finals of Flag Drags. I ended up with a trophy and my entry fee back for Super Stock and a trophy for Flag Drags. This was my third finals in flag drags. I had my car in position to win this one. Also it was running well enough and my lights were good enough to win Super Stock. I put a track legend on the trailer with his cut down and squirrely 57 Chevy. Here are a few pics.

Who knows, it may just make it to a show one of these days. I do like shortened/stubby cars though.

100 percent a Chevelle hater. My '65 + a buddy's '76 that tried to kill us + a '69 that cut the living $%#$ out of me + a '75 that drug me and another friend down a hill underneath it + a '73 Lauguna that had so much mold it caused an allergic reaction + a '72 I bought and the hood slammed on my fingers + a '75 that my fiancé and I broke up in + '66 that threw a rock at me while filming a smoky burnout session + a "Clamshell" wagon that tried to eat my upper torso while removing a heavy box...

Yeah, really don't like them.

Alex,
Fantastic stuff.  Congrats on your wins and for posting so many pics.  Definitely noted the Grand Am and the Lemans in the pictures.  Won't see you in Louisville, but I'll be in Tennessee in October.  Paul~

I sure do...this car has been great. All we have to do is make sure it's out of the salt.

I also had a legit "Slowmaro" with a 2.5L Iron Duke and 5 speed, but it would drive right past 3rd gen Z/28's and other muscle cars filling up.

Walt, don't take me too seriously on that stuff. I just like to have fun with my Chevy buddies. All I know is that I put Bowties, Mopars and Blue Ovals all back on their appropriate trailers Saturday. That is a good looking Chevelle that you have there. I have driven more Camaros, Novas, Chevelles and Monte Carlos than I care to admit.Dead

You mean the Moonshine thing is in Georgia and not Tennessee?  I must have been medicated when I wrote that post.  ...sigh.  Paul~

Well, not all of us here in Tennessee sit on the front porch next to the Fridgedair, drinking corn-squeezings, chewing on fescue sprouts in our big hats, overalls with our barefoot pregnant wives.
