The lower dash is actually the WHOLE dash.
You can plastic weld it, melt it with a soldering iron, epoxy and sand etc...

When I re-finished my dash(s), I had a crack in each that went from the bottom up to the first corner of the lower dash that faces the driver(near A/C controls). I mixed some 2 part marine epoxy, cut a piece of metal strapping that comes with most aftermarket radios(also has holes in it to help bond the strap to the dash by "keying" the strap when the epoxy fills the voids in the strap). I sanded the area that the strap would attach to with 80 grit to allow the 2 part epoxy to "bite" into the dash material and cleaned area with alcohol. I then applied the epoxy to the area but left about 3/4" from each end of the strap epoxy free, in this area I applied hot glue to the dash and instantly set the strap in place. The hot glue/metal strap will hold the cracked area together/level until the epoxy sets (24hr+). If any epoxy works it's way out of the crack on the face side, wipe off immediately. I did this to 3 different dashes, one installed and the others as "back-ups" and the cracks haven't returned. Hope this helps. Todd

It is kinda hard to find a good one without cracks especially here in AZ due to the sun rotting. I had to get mine from California, mine was way past the point of repair. You should try the junkyard and try to find a cougar or thunderbird.
