Aside from stock air cleaners, who is using what on their cars?
I'm looking for something smooth and simple more of a thunderbolt style lid but with a flat top.

I also contacted Leon at FordRamAir.com about the Gts ram air cleaner but I had gotten a shock on cost at $1600.00, however I respect then man because it's taken 7 YEARS to just break even.

What are you guys using on your Clevelands?

Wow..those are some old pics.. I don't even have RealRamAir.com anymore......it was a cool idea..but there was no interest and to much work to make them......I have the original one left [minus the small lid and filter] offset is for a 351c and foam height is set for aftermarket intake 1" tailer then stock..or 72 stock CJ intake with 1" carb spacer....$200 plus shipping...EJ

I made a "home built" ram-air set up, maybe better termed as fresh-air intake. Uses a large air cleaner base out of a mid 70's Lincoln/T'bird, an aftermarket 14" aluminum top, 14" X 4" filter with a hood plate fabbed up to slip over the Lincoln base plate and "seal" to the hood somewhat when closed. The hood scoop is the other part of the equation.

K&N had a dual inlet air cleaner way back shortly after they started I think. I had their one 14x4" normal round version for a while, it was black plastic I believe. Wow that was long ago.

I like that Thunderbolt looking air cleaner above, it's well done.

I did the added factory snorkel on my 68 302-2V Montego MX Tongue

I guess in the early 50's they weren't too concerned with hood clearance

in a lot of 50s cars, and 60s fullsize, there is like a foot of clearance between the carb and the hood.
