I'll start this off with what I know:
To remove factory exhaust manifolds, you will not need to remove the engine. I do not know the bolt size. I have headers, so they will be a much shorter bolt. There are people here who do run exhaust manifolds and may have that size. Summit racing (and many other companies) will stock the correct bolts, and will ship international. |

DO NOT USE STAINLESS!!!
Stainless steel is VERY brittle! I stay away from stainless whenever I can. Stainless also does not like to "play nice" with other metals. issues getting them out later. I would use grade 5 or 8 bolts with a washer. here is a full set... MIGHT buy 2 or 3 sets so you didn't have to use those double sided studs, but for $11 that is unbeatable. You will spend more than that buying grade 8 and washers at the hardware store. Besides IF they don't work... ebay return them! Found the same set on Rock Auto for $9.69 and they ship to Germany, NO PROBLEM. IF you don't need all those stud ones, just cut the stud off and use as a bolt. Hopefully they are the same length as your manifolds are different. Edited by Regul8r - 18-March-2015 at 5:29AM |

+1 on NOT putting stainless into Iron heads. Engine heat cycles will seize them up (especially in dissimilar metals) and they will not come out without ruining the threads.
