Questions about replacing bushing. Would it be easier to install the bushing in the new sleeve then install in control arm or replace sleeve first, then bushing.Or forget the new sleeve clean up the old one like I did on the 79 and press in bushing. On the ltd2 the outer sleeves did not come with the part.

if you are using energy suspension bushings, most don't come with the metal sleeves you just reuse the originals--so no need to remove them, but the original rubber type bushings usually come as a unit to be pressed into your control arm, maybe order the bushing and see what it comes with before you remove the sleeve if you don't have to

opinion please. The new bushings go into the old sleeves with out having to be pressed.Does this mean I should remove old sleeve and go with new.If so easiest way to remove sleeve.
