Anyone know what model of Bilstein front shocks fit on the 72 ? I was think of putting a quality set up front but on the Bilstein website there is no listing ! I was wondering if anyone figured out if a set fits !! Kind of strange they don't make a set for our cars that front end was used for so long !!

The catalogs usually don't list cars as old as ours, but they are the same shocks as Pre 2003 CVPI, just search for a 2000 CVPI.

Here are the part numbers for the HD shocks (they also make a comfort series):

Front:

Part Number: 24-014953
Old Part Number: F4-B46-1495-H1

Rear:

Part Number: 24-014960
Old Part Number: F4-B46-1496-H0

I used the 80090 springs and have the heavy duty shocks.  It's a firm ride but I like it.  I'd suspect the comfort shocks might be too weak to handle a heavy spring like that.  I think pretty much everyone on here uses the HD shocks.

Great deal on the shocks too!  I have nothing but good to say about Bilsteins.
