hey guys.. i have a 1972 gran torino sport that i received from a friend.. payed about 2k.. its in bad shape.. but all the pieces that i can see are there.. and no rust on the floor board .. so thats always nice..
a little about me.. i was never really into older cars until i started restoring a 63 f100 for my father.. and during the middle of it.. i got this car.. i have no idea how to change my oil.. so this project should be fun.. i have a million questions about this car.. but ill post some pics and hopefully i get to interact with everyone here. im bad at the pic thing.. so.. http://imgur.com/a/PKj6H one question.. i noticed above the trunk where the rot is at.. most sports dont have that.. usually the trunk goes up to the window.. why does mine? im confused.. not much info on these cars.. and heres the f100 im trying to finish up before i start on the torino. http://imgur.com/a/dx45n

The Torino in the pictures is a formal roof, not sportsroof (fastback) good looking projects!
