I just went thru my front end. New springs shocks inner and outer tie rods new sleeves and strut rod bushings and idler arm . New stabilizer links and bushings. Only thing I am wanting to know is what kind of direct replacement gearbox can I put on the car to make it feel more sporty than like a big boat floating? It turns with 1 finger and it just reminds me of floating on a cloud. I don't like that feeling. Any advise please from somebody that has done it. Thanks

The Lares 841 box is a good upgrade. It's 3.25-3.5 turns lock to lock (depending who you talk to) versus 4 lock to lock. You could also spend the money and get a saginaw quick ratio box. Companies convert them. 12.7:1 ratio. I just did one up myself. Seems ok, but I haven't driven the car yet.
