Good afternoon...'71 Torino 500. Just completed torque box and floor pan installation. Turning my attention to the rusted out front frame rails. Thought about looking for a donor car for rail material; however, I have decided to put new frame rails on. I have looked on-line and haven't seen anything listed as a Torino rail. Will other (Mustang, Cougar, etc.) rails fit this car? If not, any suggestions on fabricating shops that specialize in rails? Thanks...have a great day.

Have you considered calling salvage yards out west? You could get a front rail assy cut beyond where you need it and trim it yourself

I have only seen one pre 72 body in years of going to the El Paso yards.
