Has anyone done this? Do they dim using the rheostat on the headlamp switch?

i put red LED's in mine! they don't dim, but IDK my rheostat could be bad??? i had green LED's in my old kenworth and they dimmed but then i had like 30 gauges in it

Did you have to swap over to an electronic flasher because of the signal indicators? I've heard you have to using them for signal lamps but wasn't sure about the dash indicators.

if you just want it a bit brighter, just spray the inside of the cluster with some silver paint. I have seen this on a chevy truck cluster and it makes a huge difference, plus you can still dim when need be. I'd hate to have a bright led lit dash that I couldn't dim. must be gettin old, but those bright dash lights bother my eyes on a long drive.

i think i left the incandescent bulbs in the dash indicators? but i also used LED's in the front and rear turn sig bulbs with an electronic flasher all that works great
