Here's a few pics of the paint in progress.Stripe is done,as is the inside of car.Both fenders,headlight buckets and trunk lid are done.Man it looks really good,its so smooth and shiny,I just want to hug the fender and never let go!!!I'm picking up the fenders and buckets on monday,doors on wed and the rest of the car should be done on the 13th of august. Thanks Jim.Its 2B Red.I almost went viper red,but after debating which way to go for over a week,I decided to keep it the original red.When he first did the inside,I didn't really like it that much,it looked way orangey,but he said the outside will look much better and more red.He was right it looks great,a nice red.Even he wasn't to sure,but he likes it also,he said the color is growing on him.I picked up both fenders tonight,I'll post a pic or two.

Thanks Ron,yeah I can't wait to get the carback.I have this anxious anticipation feeling thats been with me these last couple of weeks and it won't go away till the car's back in my shop.Then the fun starts,putting it all back together!!!

Picked one door today,headlight buckets,front filler panel,mirrors,gas door and all 4 corner bumper fillers.Going to assemble the headlight buckets tomorrow.Also finished rebuilding the trans yesterday and gave it a nice coat of alumablast paint and did some painting of the rad support brackets and hood latch bracket.He's going to spray the body on sat and he said it should be done tuesday so I'll get a couple days sooner jump on seperating the body when it gets to the shop on wed.Pics to come.

Hey Jim,yeah its looking good,actually its done!Went over tonight to see it and its AWESOME!!!Pics coming.Whats going on in detroit next year?Sadly I'm moving to vegas this fall,so no more carlisle for me,at least not right now.Where do you live?I'm stopping at Steve B's house on my way through jersey and George G. is going to be there also,they both want to see the car.Maybe you could meet us there.Let me know where your at.Ralph

Thanks sininen.Motor is done except for intake and fuel injection setup.I will be getting that in a couple off weeks.If you go back to past topics,there are pics of the motor,I think in july I posted them.

Here's a couple pics of the body seperated after it got to my shop.Today I finished underside prep and scuffed it all up ready for paint on sunday.Also wrapped the whole body in plastic.Oops,missed a spot on the right rear corner!
