My 1973 Gran Torino with a 302 runs great still, it's got around 53,000 original miles and I'd like to repair/replace all the vacuum lines. I have all the shop manuals and have looked at diagrams but if there's anyone with specific pictures or information on how to route each and every vacuum line and where each of them go it would be greatly appreciated. Not all of them are missing but some are.

hard to say what all was on your car but the only real necessary ones you need are:
1) small one from the vac advance on the distributor to a port on the carb (that only has vacuum when you open the throttle--NO vacuum at idle!) 2) large hose from rear of intake or carb to the brake booster 3) medium hose from the carb or intake (full vacuum) to the modulator at the rear of the transmission |
