Does anyone know the maximum width of the rear tire a 71 ranchero can fit? Rim dimensions?
ive got 245/60 14 in the rear and 225/70 14 in the front. Im looking for somthing a little more meaty, just never purchased tires/rims before. Thanks for any input guys

i'm not sure on the 70-71 cars, but i'd suggest measure from the floor up to the bumper or some other reference point, measure from the floor up to the center of the axle for a reference, then remove the wheel, jack the axle up to your reference, then jack the frame up to that reference then put a straight edge against the axle flange, at the top of the wheel lip measure in to the straight edge make a note, measure from the straight edge into the inside of the wheelwell note that and check around for any narrower spots to see what width you can fit and what backspacing will work
