My first car was a 1972 Gran Torino Sport, 351 Cleveland, 4v. Had to sell it when I got married. (couldn't afford the insurance or the Gas. 40 Years later (Two weeks ago) my wife surprised me with a B-day present. A 1973 Gran Torino Sport, 351 Cleveland, 2v. 81K original miles. clean but runs rough. I haven't worked on cars since my 1st Torino and I need help. If anyone can help me find the best shop manual specific to the 73 Torino Sport and or a good restoration step by step guide, and an original owners manual I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance for your help Kim Hamilton Edited by GPapaKim - 29-May-2018 at 4:32PM |

Tried to post a pic of my new baby but the Image box didn't have a browse button like the instructions said so I couldn't find a way to post the images from my computer. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks, Kim

btw vince fixed the pic size thing! but there could be another issue? owners manual usually don't tell you much just basics... ( i'll check i may have a 73 original owners manual) the ford shop manual sets have a lot of good info i have 2 of the 4 that were in my car, handy at times! |

Welcome Kim! You should be able to post pics now. When you first sign up you are a "brand new member" with limited privileges and you can't upload pics. The Webmaster has made it so that a forum admin has to manually upgrade you to a regular member. Unfortunately Admin isn't on here 24/7 so there are delays in approving new members and posts sometimes. This is to prevent spammers from joining and ruining the forum.
Dave posted all the instructions on posting photos. There are separate instructions for cell phones vs computer. The shop manual sets are definitely the best resource to have. An old Chiltons or Haynes isn't bad for basic stuff but the shop manual is best. |

I am in Maricopa. My Pics were taken on my Iphone. I'm not sure How to post pics yet. The Instructions show a Browse feature when I select the image button but there isn't one when I try it. If there is another way I would like to know.
Where are you in phoenix?

The instructions are for an Android phone. Maybe someone who has an iPhone can take some screen shots?
