Hello all,
From San Diego, New to the forums and new to the oldies. I know nothing of building or repairing, but I’m a quick learner and can figure out how to do almost anything if i want it bad enough. Recently finalized a deal with a 1970 Torino Cobra Clone (father/son project) in great shape, no rust! However, while close it’s not cobra complete so I’m looking forward to learning about this vehicle and what else I can do to make it complete.

Thanks Ken,
It’s not actually my Father/Son project, but someone else’s and it looks like they've put a lot of time into it. However, I could definitely make it a project with my son. Here’s a list of work on it so far ......

No rust solid all the way around.
Newer exhaust headers all the way back flow master.
Custom classic 11 spoke craiger rims. Custom Calypso Coral paint job
clean no rip black tweed interior, newer black tweed headliner.
Rebuilt 351 high compression engine
224 lope cam
aluminum intake
holly 4 barrel carb
320 hp and 295 lbs of torque
rebuilt c4 transmission with shift kit 3500 stall converter
Ford 9 in rear end with 3.11 gears.
Newer flowmaster exhaust 2 1/2 in straight back
Track ready sway bars on rear
B&M slap shifter
full light tachometer
custom steering wheel
fully painted trunk
cowl injected hood

chrome in great condition. 13.49 quarter mile.

Sorry, I misread your post.  I thought you meant you bought it as a father/son project.  The car looks great, nice colour and a lot of goodies.  Nice 1/4 mile ET too.

You’re probably right Johnny, it was a cut n paste from what was sent to me. I think the first couple of things I’d like to do is add power windows and AC!

Can anyone suggest a site for a custom instrument cluster for this vehicle? I’d like to start reworking the dash area
