that's what trucks are for

i hate to say it but after you did a frame swap it looks like you'd be Fred Flintstone before long with those floors? and i know you said you're not looking for a big project but this looks like a great Crown Vic floor & chassis candidate if the body above the floors checks out, major project there though, hard to tell from pics

another option, find a rust free southern car for sale that you can swap this car into

i've never thought about how far back Crown Vic might be applicable?

check out this project thread, pretty much 'just doing floors' LOL but floors from a different car

an older LTD / Crown Vic would have similar driveline & mounts to the 1973 Torino

i always wanted to stack a Torino on a Bronco frame, with the driveline in the lower frame for low CG

now i'm wondering how the wheelbases look?

A Crown Vic frame swap might is quite a bit more work.  See this thread where this guy is doing one:

Anyone heard from Joe (UnlovedFord) lately?  He may have a frame or two in his collection.

what about dave (hogfiddles) i think he posted that he got a 72 parts car for the frame and front cip to use on his 73... if his 73 frame is good, might be an option for you???
