Hey guys and gals, Dan here from NC. Glad to be here and looking forward to the boards.

I currently own a 1978 Ford Ranchero (daily driver), in the process of trading my 1980 firebird for a 1966 Ford Falcon sports coupe, and I just bought a 1969 Ford Torino GT hardtop which needs restoring. I've never restored a car before so there's a first time for everything. Won't be a full restoration but we'll see what happens. I'll create a WIP thread for the torino.

always wanted to do a bad ass Fe motor in one of those 66-69 falcons, sort of like the way Ford should have done the car back then. welcome

Thanks for the welcome guys. Here's a couple of pics. The torino hasn't been on the road since 89'. Hooked a battery to it and poured a cap of fuel into the carb and she fired up. I'm told 44,000 original miles on the torino. Needs a lot of love.

Welcome to the forum! That Ranchero looks really sharp and the Torino should make a great project car.
