gas is running out of the vent hole o.t. fuel pump

Hello everybody....

Last friday finally i could drive my Torino for the first time. But yesterday i smelled some fuel duricng a stop. I get under my car and i saw that fuel is running out of the vent hole at the fuel pump. In this topic i am a newbie. 

Can somedody tell me what´s wrong?

By the way... the fuel pump is totally new.

Yesterday i screwed the idle srew 1/2 to get a better sound during standind. Could that also be the reason why?

that is called the weep hole, when gas comes out from that hole you start weeping because the pump is bad.

gas can also be filling the oil pan and diluting your oil, so you need to drain and change the oil / filter as well as the fuel pump.

Yup what has already been said... pump is bad(rubber diaphragm is leaking).

yes and they can pump oil out that hole too, i had 2 new pumps in a row do that! adjusting the screw didn't have anything to do with that...just a coincidence!!!Confused

Change the pump, it's N.F.G.
Change your oil too.
Good chance you got gas in your oil now.
