    Posted: 20-January-2020 at 11:28PM
Need to replace mine off of the 72 MGT and have not been able to track any down. Anyone know if the seal kit from the 71 Torino will work? Failed heater core dumping antifreeze and 48 years of deterioration did a number on the originals.

Thanks!

I am not sure, but I doubt they would interchange exactly.  Little interchanges between a 1971 and 1972.  You may be able to modify the 1971 seals to work for your car.

That’s what I guessed, I did order the seal kit from Detroit Muscle Technology anyway as it was reasonably priced. Hopefully I can make most of it work.

Let us know if it works, and post pics if you can make it work.

Do you have heater only or is this a heat/ac car?
Thanks,
Russ

It's a heater only, I will take pictures to compare the 1971 seal kit with what I have and document any modifications I have to make
