Hello, I’m new to the forum and new to owning an older car. I purchased a 76 Torino in June. I bought it from the original owner who did a frame-off restoration, completing it in 2016. As nice as it is, it still needs some work. This forum has been extremely helpful with information. Looking forward to being a part of this.

I tried to post pictures, but the information on the sticky info didn’t work with my phone. Any info on how to get pictures uploaded with an iPhone would be appreciated.

I tried fixing the photo, but it does not allow me to do so like I used to anymore. I do like your Torino though. it looks really clean. Please post more photos when you can.

Thank you. I have replaced all of the suspension, except for the rear control arm bushings, which I now have. I also have put new rims and tires on. I’ll post pictures when I get the control arms done. Front end now sits too high for my liking. Will probably pull the springs back out and cut an inch of height off them.

i really like the silver color, you don't see many torinos that color.
What parts/ suppliers did you use for the suspension bushings?

The rear bushings are Energy Suspension black poly purchased from Energy Suspension Technology. The fronts were part of a rebuild kit from A-resto-parts. Coil springs are Moog. I also have 1 1/2” lift blocks in the rear. I’ll get some pics posted in the near future of how it looks now.

Very nice. I like that color too, my 72 Gran Torino was the pewter color.

The car looks great. I fixed your photos for you. The pic rotation thing has to do with the forum software not recognizing the rotation properties from mobile devices. You have to manually rotate images with a computer program such as paint to fix them. What are you using to take those pics? They were really stubborn to rotate correctly - I had to basically make new files to strip the old rotation properties off the files.

The two pictures of the car parked in the gravel driveway were taken to send to the insurance company for proof of value. 8 minutes after I emailed the pictures I hit a deer with the car. It’s all fixed now.

With the new suspension, rims and tires. I’m thinking that the front needs to come down about two inches.
