Hello experts. I recently put a new fuel system with a stock replacement part (gas tank, sending unit, fuel pump etc) My gas gauge works and sometimes doesn't. I switched clusters and the results are the same. the sending unit connector has seen better days (two prong style) and I was wondering where the other end of the connector is located inside the vehicle. Ive see replacements on line but it's a pigtail with about 8 inches of lead and eyehole for the ground.

has anyone changed the harness?
