Hello everyone, John Moore in Washington NC here. Earlier this year I finally found another 72 GTS very close to first one I had from 73 to 77.  I have visited this forum at times and finally decided to register. My current GTS is Q code, Select Shift C6,  Buckets, Console, 3:25 Std,  Competition Suspension,  Green,  Laser Stripe, No Vinyl Top, and Repo Magnum 500s. The car is for the most part all original. No show piece for sure, but a excellent driver. The engine block is correct for 72. The heads are 71 quench chamber. It came with a D1ZX aluminum Square Bore intake with a Holley 800 DP. I have since changed the intake to an original iron spread bore. I'm running a C9AF-U Holley until I  get the Motorcraft 4300D in order. I have since obtained a D1ZX Aluminum Spread Bore intake that I plan to install later. The Dual Point Distributor has been converted to Petronix Ignitor I.  The near future will bring new correct front seat covers, arm rest pads, and a new windshield.  I plan to post some pics when I get it washed up. It's been sitting in storage during the long Hot summer we had this season.  Thanks for letting me be a part of this community.  John.

Thanks guys. The car was listed on Barn Finds and eBay back in February. It was near Huntsville Alabama. It was built in Atlanta for DSO 28 Louisville.  I will send some pics when I earn the privilege.  John

Welcome to the forum. I have upgraded you to a new member so you have full forum privileges. Post some pics of your Q-code when you have a chance. It sounds like a great car.
