getting frame out of paint booth early this week and yes on the full resto.
the was in pretty good shape at 20 ft away and drove like s#@$.

the guy i got it from put fresh paint on it and was it. like i said don't look at it to close the under carriage was shot plus a of other problems. i'll to keep this up to date. the tear down took 4 months.not sure how long the rebuild will take.

I think I am on year 9 of my 10 year plan.

351 c fmx trans not to happy about tran but will see maybe a c6 down the road.

Yes i plan on keeping the site updated. i work out town all week so the weekend is all i have to work on it. plus i have honey do list so iam guesting its going to be slow.
i did find a couple paint markings one on the rearend not sure what its for.

whats wrong with the fmx transmission?  i have one in mine and i was told it was a heavy duty racing transmission... no good?

nothing wrong with the fmx i here the c6 is much better that all.if i don't find one close real cheap i'll have a fmx and love it.

My FMX seems to work fine.  It is not as tough as the c6,  but they work real good.  Especially with a higher stall torque converter.

I found out that Torino buckets are exclusive.  Guys at Dearborn Classics told me Cougar seats are narrower, I would re-verify before you buy!

73 cougar is 71-73 mustang based, so console and seats are not desinged for that floorplan. maybe a 74
