That car is gorgeous. If the description is accurate, someone just got an awesome deal on a straight car needing some simple cosmetic work. I'm impressed.

that original 73 GTS on craigslist I posted is in better condition for another $500.The 73 has original paint & laser stripe.I can see the lower 1/4's are rotted on this 72.That car is only an H code,$1500 tops is what I might have payed, cause its gonna cost about $10-15K to restore and that is doing most the work yourself

When you got to have it ,you got to have it! right , I've bought dew like that before , It's still torino and it don't need every- thing do it ,or does it?   there is a  seat for every one . ( after it's redone that is) still better than the scale, maybe the guy wants if for parts.

Positive side.....makes our favorite car seem even more desireable.
For some reason it does  not seem that many 72 Fastbacks are available in the GA and TN area. I know one guy in Knoxville that has been looking hard for more than two years in the area.
Also makes this N code car in AZ look like a steal at $6K

I am in montreal and I been to scrap yards that had torinos better than that. Our hard winters and salt put on the roads destroys any car before its time. That is what a car sitting in a field for 20 years looks like.

I think you are going to continue to see these cars bringing money that they weren't bringing even 5 years ago.  At least that's my opinion and its based on a number of factors but primarily people are waking up to what great muscle cars the GTS really was and still is.

I guess I really got a deal for mine. I paid 1750 for a 72 H code. I know H codes are pretty common, but you would think the seller would want want like 3,000 for it. Then, for 200,he gave a me and edelbrock square bore intake and a edelbrock 4 bbl that was missing like half the parts!
