Hey Ian.

Thanks. Not an original idea buy any strech, and I have seen a couple others here already.

I have like 50 hours in it. I also cut 70 pounds off the front of the car in the process, and the bumper still weighs too much.

I am probably going to struggle again to get my pics up , but here is another attempt .
We got our Torino into the "readers rides" section in a magazine and won a prize to boot ( car products shown at top right of pic ) the mag is the Australian "street Machine" and this is April's addition . I tried with our Kiwi mag only too find they had dumped doing the readers rides section .uploads/804/Mag_2010_pics.ZIP.

Is it just me, or is the rear side marker light "deleted" on that fender?

That is an awesome colour, BTW!

Thanks. Bought this car from a friend for $2500. He made me promise not to keep it and not turn a profit on it. I enjoy this car too much to sell it. My nine year old daughter has laid claim to this car. She talks to all the people when we take it to a rod run.Smile Makes me proud.

antlerfiend, that is one of the most unusual two tone paint schemes I have seen on a GTS.I'm usually not a fan of those rims but for some reason they look good on your car.
I have been on this forum since last September and have seen more GTS cars bought in the last few months or new members with GTS cars. I think these cars are getting popular again as they seem to be poping up for sale and being bought left and right. Now we just need some aftermarket parts makers to take notice. great to see all thse nice Torino's finding homes to those who plan on restoring them. I can't wait till mine is done and take it to the first show.I know i'll make the local cruise night but i'm talking about it's first big show where it can be judged and admired by thousands of people.I would love to go to a big national event and have 20 other Torino's in line with mine.
Seen it with MOPARS as I have restored many and gone to alot of shows with the cars I built but in all the car shows I have gone to I have never seen a sea of Torino's.

I agree with Jeff, That is an interesting paint scheme Antlerfiend. I'd like to see the white part black though!

I agree, I like the Torino Antlerfiend.  I'd trade my low miles Ranchero anyday for a 72 Q code Torino!

The paint scheme was on the car when I bought it. At first I wasn't to fond of it but it has grown on me. The paint job isn't the best but it does have an Alabama mosquito forever embedded in the hood. I would love to hook up with a bunch of GTS cars and go to a show. I have had a hard time just finding one other car to hang out with. Thanks for the love.

Steve,
Let me know if you want more pics of your car before you bought it.  I still have like 8 or so of the car when I was getting ready to sell it.  I came across them a few weeks ago on the computer.
Take care
